The ARE School is noted for its strong quantitative approach to research, and this continues into the research supervision it provides for postgraduate students.

We have strengths in the areas of bio-economic modelling, non-market valuation of natural resources and integrated whole farm modelling, in particular as it relates to environmental management and the adoption of new industries.
