Kim_Atherly002You can undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in any area of agricultural and resource economics.

A PhD is a program of independent, supervised research assessed solely on the basis of a thesis that is examined externally.

A doctoral thesis must be a substantial and original contribution to knowledge of the subject with which it deals.

Benefits

The School offers many benefits to postgraduate researchers, such as:

  • up to $5000 in operational costs for those students whose projects do not have external support
  • general administrative expenses covered by the School
  • up to $1000 in matching funds
